# For blockchain beginners

### 1. **Get your own wallet address**

Go to [**MetaMask.io**](https://metamask.io/) and click the “Download” button, which will take you to the relevant store to download the extension or app based on the device and browser you’re using. Follow the instructions in Metamask to create your own wallet address.\

There are many different networks in the blockchain ecosystem. MetaMask's primary supported network is the Ethereum network. Since Orbcity supports services on polygon networks, you'll need to add a polygon network to your metamask.

* Click 'Ethereum Mainnet' at the top of the metamask&#x20;
* Click Add Network
* Click Add Polygon Mainnet

This is how you can add a polygon network to your Metamask.

If you want to have a better experience using Polygon Networks, try changing your RPC settings<br>

#### (1) Add network<br>

#### (2) Add a network manually <br>

#### (3) Fill in the blanks as shown below and Save.

* Polygon Mainnet

* 137
* MATIC
* <https://polygonscan.com/><br>
