# $SCRAP Resources

## $Scrap: Utility Resources

* Resource Name: Scrap
* Resource Ticker: $SCRAP
* Total Issue: Unlimited

As an ecosystem utility resource, $SCRAP is a resource that can be earned in the OrbCity ecosystem without owning District and Building NFTs. By doing so, the OrbCity team has created a system that controls the number of NFTs that can influence the token price, but allows many people to participate and earn resources.

While $SCRAP will still allow you to participate in the OrbCity economic ecosystem, it will be utilized more for the purpose of enabling ecosystem fun and features, rather than for profit.

{% hint style="info" %}

#### Note: $Scrap is a non-transferrable utility resource in OrbCity. It’s an incentive for Non-Land Holders and Newcomers. They can collect $Scrap to take part in OrbCity ecosystem.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://orbcity.gitbook.io/orbcity/economy/tokenomics/usdscrap-resources.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
