# Benefit

One of the concepts of Lay-Bours in building is that they reduce construction time, and they represent the number of Lay-Bours you can contract with. Depending on how active the contracted Lay-Bours are in the ecosystem, building owners can earn time coupons.

### Lay-Bours Benefit 1

$$
Construction\~Time=\[t\_c*v*a]*{(100-5*LayBours\_{n-1})\over100}
$$

$$
t\_c=base ~~time\\
v=dynamic~~time\\
a=increased~~percentage~~based~~on~~building
$$

$$
1\ \leq LayBours\_n\leq\ 14
$$

Construction time decreases by 5% for each value of Lay-Bours. Since construction time is closely tied to the amount of $Lay 007 mined per day, the less time it takes, the more efficient the construction.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Lay-Bours is 1** = 0% reduction in construction time \
**Lay-Bours is 2** = 5% reduction in construction time \
**Lay-Bours is 9** = 40% reduction in construction time
{% endhint %}

### Lay-Bours Benefit 2

$$
LayBours\_{n}=Contract \~with ~~n~~ LayBours
$$

Each building can contract with Lay-Bours holding an OrbCity passport, which means that depending on the ecosystem activity of the contracted Lay-Bours, building owners can benefit from time coupons.

**The logic and method of obtaining time coupons will be revealed at a later date.**
